WILA Laser uses CO2 laser cladding technology to conduct laser cladding Ti/Cr2O3 composite coating tests on the surface of titanium alloy.

The results show that when the laser power is 1.8 kW and the scanning speed is 6 mm/s, the dilution rate is the smallest, which is 3.95%, and a continuous, uniform, high-quality cladding layer without cracks and pores is obtained, and a good metallurgical bond is achieved. The microhardness is significantly improved, up to 1050 HV, which is about 3 times that of the base material on average.
